British Isles Genealogical Research Association (BIGRA)
BIGRA has disbanded as a separate organization. It has joined with the San Diego Genealogical Society as a Special Interest Group known as British Isles Group (BIG). The films and books in the BIGRA collection at the SDFHC will continue to be maintained and added to, to the extent of existing BIGRA funds.

Chula Vista Genealogical Society (CVGS)
General meetings on the last Wednesday of the month at noon, with society highlights, guest speaker and refreshments, at the Chula Vista Civic Center Library, 4th and F Streets in Chula Vista, 619-691-5069. Help is available at the Library Mondays at noon. Computer Group meets on the 3rd Wednesday at noon in the Library Computer Lab to discuss and demonstrate computer usage, genealogy software and Internet research. Research Group meets on the 2nd Wednesday at noon in the Library Conference Room to discuss genealogy research problems of members and guests in a round-table format. Queries for South San Diego County are welcomed and answered quickly.

Computer Genealogy Society of San Diego (CGSSD)
Meets 9 a.m.-noon every 3rd Sat. of the month except December, at the Robinson Auditorium complex at UCSD, La Jolla. From North Torrey Pines Rd., turn at Pangea Dr. into UCSD. German Research Association (GRA)
Meets every 1st Sat. (except holidays). Some meetings 10:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. at the San Diego Family History Center, 4195 Camino del Rio So., in Mission Valley, with a speaker or class followed by individual help for members and those wishing to join. Norwegian Genealogy Group (NGG)
Sponsored by the Sons of Norway but open to all interested in Norwegian family history. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month (except July and December) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the San Diego Family History Center, 4195 Camino del Rio South, in Mission Valley. Enter on east side of building. Each meeting will include a class or presentation on some aspect of Norwegian genealogy, followed by individual family history sharing or problem solving.
